1737 is the year recognized by the Diocese of Connecticut as the beginning of St. John's Church. Anglicans, then Episcopalians, have worshipped at St. John's for 260 years ever since.

| SEARCH COMMITTEE FOR NEW RECTOR Applications are available if you wish to be on the Search Committee for the new Rector. The election for the Search Committee members has been set for September 12, 2010. Scott Moore will have some with him this Sunday or you can stop by the office to pick one up or we can email one to you. Just send an email request to stjohns@stjohnsonthegreen.org. Photos will be posted in the hall and voted on by the parishioners at the parish meeting on Sept 12.
