Open to anyone with the desire to sing. Rehearsals are second Thursday of each month: rehearsal 7:30 - 9 PM Sunday mornings: rehearsal at 9:15 am, or at 9:30 on the Sunday following a Thursday night rehearsal from September to June.

Chorister Academy

 

The Chorister Academy at St. John’s Parish gives young people in the Greater Waterbury Area, regardless of background, the opportunity to sing in a choir that is faithful to the highest standards of the choral art. The Choir is open to youth from third grade through high school. Rehearsals and lessons are held twice a week from September to June: Tuesday afternoons from 4:00 - 5:30, and Thursday afternoons from 5:00 - 7:15 (Thursdays include dinner).Check us out at http://sjpchoristers.blogspot.com.

SEARCH COMMITTEE FOR NEW RECTOR
Applications are available if you wish to be on the Search Committee for the new Rector.  The election for the Search Committee members has been set for September 12, 2010.  Scott Moore will have some with him this Sunday or you can stop by the office to pick one up or we can email one to you.  Just send an email request to stjohns@stjohnsonthegreen.org. All applications should be returned to the church office.

PHOTO CONTEST

Email in your best photo of the inside or outside of St. John's Church.  Photos will be posted in the hall and voted on by the parishioners at the parish meeting on Sept 12.

Winner will receive a digital camera and winning photo will be featured on the upcoming pledge campaign card.
